Lazy Mike and daughter
Annie (formerly Carson) Mallon
have been a mainstay of t​he Vancouver Island blues
scene for over a decade in various projects
including Blues Award Nominees
South Island Rhythm Kings.
Steeped in traditional early electric blues,
this duo's song selection draws from a wide range of artists, notably Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Big Bill Broonzy, Tampa Red, Johnny Young, and Jimmy Reed,
in addition to performing several original compositions.
Lazy Mike Mallon, harmonica, and Annie Mallon, guitar, each sing and weave their instrumentation to bring a unique take on traditional roots and blues music.
